Focus is a tool that helps you concentrate on your work with the Pomodoro technique or a regular Stopwatch. Sometimes you just need to grind and suspend all distractions around you, and that is where Focus can help.
Pomodoro is a time management technique developed by Francesco Cirillo. Pomodoro breaks up your work day into 25-minute chunks with 5-minute breaks in between. This way you can concentrate on your priorities and get more done with less distractions. Finale To Do will help you track time, remind you to take a rest, and allow you to focus on the important tasks. You can also change your desired work time, break time, and how often long breaks are offered.
Additionally, you can use a regular Stopwatch to track your to-dos. Sometimes something as simple as a clock can help you get in to a productive mindset.
While in Focus you can keep using the app as usual, and a Focus timer will appear in the side menu and next to the task list’s name. The timer will indicate your current focus state, and you can tap it to go back to the Focus menu.
Enable Focus
By default the Focus menu is hidden. To enable it, go to ⚙️Settings → Habits & Focus and turn on Enable Focus. Afterwards, you can open Focus anytime by tapping on the 🕒 Focus button next to the ⚙️Settings button in the side menu.
Focus task
While in Focus you can select any task you are currently focusing on. Tap the Focus > button to select a task, and, once you are done, you can complete it right there from the Focus view.
