Sometimes working is boring. Chores are boring. Tracking stuff is boring. That is why Finale To Do tried to gamify your experience by rewarding you with points and achievements. Completing tasks on time gives you the most points, while you get less and less for tasks that are overdue.
You can gain levels by acquiring certain amount of points. Although levels don’t necessary change your tangible experience (only the minor serotonin boost), they are a nice way of seeing how far you’ve progressed.
Badges are awarded to users who complete certain milestones within the app (that’s where the major serotonin boost comes in). You can track each badges’ progress in your profile: tap on your name in the side menu and then go to Badges.
