Lists are containers to keep your tasks organized. Each list can hold unlimited tasks. You could use lists to separate tasks by categories like Work, Home, Shopping, Hobbies, or anything else. Alternatively, you could use lists to organize tasks into projects like Final Paper, Monthly Report, Major Update, or others. Or go crazy with your lists, we can’t stop you.
List icon and color
You can customize your list’s appearance by changing its icon and color. You can select icons from a variety of built-in options or any emoji, and pick colors either from our default pallet or any of the million custom colors of your choice.
To make these changes, tap on the current list icon while creating or editing a list.
List sorting
Tasks within a list can be sorted by name, due date, creation time, or priority. Tap on the Sort button in the top-right corner to select a preferred sorting method.
Smart Lists
Smart Lists are built-in lists that automatically compile and display tasks from all your personal lists in a special way. You can enable or disable any Smart Lists in ⚙️Settings → Lists → Smart Lists.
